Xin Tian Di at Crowne Plaza Galleria Hotel

Since I wasn't able to celebrate the Chinese New Year here, it wasn't too late. I recently phoned in at Xin Tian Di for reservation for a week-end lunch, right before my meeting at the Manila Planetarium.

Xin Tian Di is Crowne Plaza Galleria Hotel's signature restaurant which offered unlimited dimsum buffet, much like what was offered at Li Li's Restaurant Yum Cha Sunday Buffet at Hyatt Casino Hotel, which has been by far my most favorite Cantonese dimsum buffet.

Located at the 4th level of Crowne Plaza Galleria Hotel, it prides itself to being able to cater the most discriminating and fastidious Asian palettes in all of us. Their dimsum buffet is not only confined into dimsum alone, they even have basic staples as Yang Chaw Fried Rice, congee, and soups. The missing part are the fruits and salads.

You will be ushered in to your reserved seat number and will be given with a courtesy peanut. Oh they're so damn deliciously good.

Double-boiled Chicken Congee with Century Egg.

Salmon Taro Puff.

Raddish Cake.

Pork and Beef Dumpling.

Steamed Xiao Long Pao Shanghai style.

Steamed Siomai Pork Dumplings.

Steamed Crystal Prawns Ha Kao.

Japanese siomai, my favorite amongst them.

Spring Roll.

I also love this dimsum because it has vegetable inside.

Steamed Duck Wings with Chili Sauce.

Wanton Noodle Soup with Roast Duck.

Beef Hofan.

Ham Sui Kok.

Chilli Dumpling to get rid of the icky factor.

Steamed sweetened layered cake.

Coffee pudding to conclude my meal.

The restaurant boasts of a travesty that is splendidly Chinese with classy interiors and elegant hanging decors.

The way to order is that you will be given sheets containing their menu where you can put a check to mark your order. Make sure to indicate the number of items because if you don't they will cook just one item for you, unlike, for example, on an a la carte per serving basis where one order of dimsum usually constitutes 3-4pieces.

For Php888 at 25% off, I think it was worth it. Their dimsum buffet doesn't include a drink so I ordered a pot of hot tea for Php176.
